Gulf Place Town Center 202

Gulf Place Town Center 202, also known as The Love Nest and formerly Inn at Gulf Place 202, is a quaint vacation rental that provides the perfect place for a romantic rendezvous. Hardwood flooring flows throughout the open living area that is comfortably furnished and faces two sets of windows centered by a glass door that leads out onto a gulf view balcony.  Seating here allows you enjoy the breezy views while sipping some wine or favorite drinks. The décor includes nautical oars and a woven straw trunk as well as some fanciful mermaids on the wall. A couch and armchair provide a seating ensemble near an ottoman while a smart TV sits upon a rustic antique dresser for entertainment (live TV not provided). The couch can convert to a queen-sized sleeper sofa if need be. A honey-toned hardwood topped square table with four saddle type stools provides an excellent spot for an intimate meal when dining in. The open kitchen features stainless steel appliances and plenty of creamy cabinetry for tasty treats.

The Primary Bedroom has a charming cottage styled look with a king sized bed, a handsome cage door armoire, and sea life sculptures. It has direct access to a bright bathroom with a walk-in shower, a tub, and a vanity sink. This bath may also be accessed from the hallway for use as a convenient powder room.

Gulf Place is perched high upon a sugary dune on Scenic 30A and serves as the unofficial town center of Santa Rosa Beach. It is comprised of a colorful collection of retail shops, restaurants, and residences that wrap around an expansive two-acre grassy outdoor amphitheater.  This serves as a focal point for fun festivals, live entertainment, musical concerts and art shows throughout most of the year. A pool, tennis courts, lushly landscaped grounds, sparkling fountains and a lovely lagoon complete the sensational setting. Directly across Scenic 30A is the convenient beach access at Ed Walline State Park.  Showers and bathroom facilities are available here with a long handicapped accessible ramp down to the beach. Retail shops at Gulf Place include fashion boutiques, the Sunrise Coffee Company, Shunk Gulley, and galleries featuring creations by an eclectic group of local artists. Beautiful artwork includes watercolors, oils, folk art, pottery, jewelry, glass mosaics, photography and even tie-dye clothing. During the summer months artisans feature their own wares when mini specialty shops spring up around the town green.

Besides the beautiful beach, you don't have to go far for food and drinks. Additional restaurants at Gulf Place include: The Perfect Pig Grill and Fish House is a "foodie fantasy land"; Pizza by the Sea, which was voted Best Pizza in South Walton and La Playa creative coastal cuisine with a patio offering bright views of the dazzling emerald green waters.  A short distance away two other favorite South Walton restaurants includes the elegant beachfront Vue on 30A which features Caribbean styled seafood and Stinky's Fish Camp on Oyster Lake which despite its name has fresh, tasty fish caught directly from the gulf.

Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the Gulf Place Caribbean and Cabana community pool is typically heated October through April.
