Imagine staying at a family compound for that special beach vacation or wonderful reunion in a handsome six bedroom, three story columned estate that overlooks the gorgeous gulf and is conveniently located off Scenic 30A in Santa Rosa Beach. Well, now your dreams can become a reality at Morning Star. Twin palms and a charming white picket fence will embrace you at the gracious open stairway that leads up to the grand entry. Once inside the home you will be immediately awed by the beautifully decorated upscale furnishings that provide you with all the comforts of home and then some. A spacious great room extends from one side of the rental to the other with soaring cathedral ceilings, lots of sunny windows looking out over the gulf and custom built-in cabinetry. Honey toned hardwood flooring flows from room to room which includes both a living and dining area as well as a wet bar. Decorative arts throughout are warm, colorful, whimsical and provide individual charm that defines South Walton sophistication. Multiple doors lead out to an expansive open sundeck with a decorative arbor as well as a giant covered porch for big family gatherings. This area provides outdoor living at its best since there is a large dining table that seats eight, a gas grill for your own "Surf n Turf" feast, comfortable lounge chairs and a cozy porch swing that faces the gleaming gulf. A formal dining room is incorporated into the great room that seats eight more under a stylish chandelier. This adjoins a columned double breakfast bar with high metal chairs. On this level you will find two king suites, a bedroom with two full beds and full attached bath, a cozy bedroom with a day bed and twin trundle, and a twin bunk room with shared access to a full hall bathroom. Just outdoors you will find another sun deck with a lovely lagoon shaped swimming pool that has multiple chairs for leisurely lounging while soaking up the sun.

Upstairs on the third floor is the master bedroom Suite which has a beautifully angled vaulted ceiling over a king sized bed as well as its own private bathroom. A door leads out onto a romantic private balcony that looks down across the gulf and its sugar white beach. A bonus den on this same level features a relaxing couch, flat screen TV, and sunny window for natural lighting.

Morning Star is located in Old Florida Beach. It's a golden Americana-influenced, gated community that borders the white sand beach, and is also adjacent to a rare exotic coastal dune lake. Natural treasures like this are rarely found anywhere else. A creek-like estuary flows across a sand dune into and back from the Gulf, depending upon the tides. This creates a magical mixture of salted freshwater that supports an abundance of wildlife, fish, and plants. Besides luxuriating in the gorgeous jewel-toned Gulf, guests enjoy exploring this forested lake by kayak or paddleboard and try their luck fishing. This neighborhood is within walking distance of the famous Goat Feather's Restaurant. Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the community pool is typically heated during the fall and holiday weeks.

The use of golf carts are prohibited in the Old Florida Beach community.
