The award-winning Northwest Florida Regional Airport terminal has 110,000 square feet and serves about two million travelers every year. This airport has over 50 non-stop flights that arrive daily from all over the nation served by Allegiant, American, Delta and United Airlines. Round trip tickets from Houston to Destin can be as low as $245 round trip and even cheaper with special sales. Allegiant Airlines recently began non-stop service from Austin to Destin with inexpensive flights. Panama City International Airport is another alternative and located about 45 minutes from Miramar Beach. The Pensacola airport is a little over one hour away. Destin also has small Executive Airport just minutes away from Miramar Beach that serves privately owned planes and small jets.
