C Cottage

"C Cottage" is whimsically named since it is not a "sea" cottage but rather an opulent beachfront VILLA on a sugary white dune overlooking the gorgeous GULF! Five bedrooms with five baths accommodate up to 12 fortunate beachgoers. It's perfect for reunions with separate members of your group since part of the guest quarters includes a lovely Carriage House. Although this richly appointed home was featured on a Show Case House Tour when it was completed in recent years, it has received brand new updates. These include a spacious beachfront sundeck, a hot tub overlooking the gulf, new windows, and plush cream-colored carpeting in the living area along with all the bedrooms. It is located in Blue Mountain Beach, a coastal village famed for having the highest elevation on the entire Gulf of Mexico. Its own private beach is on a part of Scenic 30A that boasts high acclaim for having one of the most beautiful shorelines in the entire nation.

The exterior of C Cottage is adorned with palm trees and includes a two-story columned entry portico crowned with an arched palladium window and nautically themed blue walls trimmed in white.  The grand exterior leads indoors, where wonderful appointments are all completed for comfort. These interiors are decorated in a casual coastal style with furnishings that evoke a warm, welcoming cottage-style feel. A swordfish hangs from the wall of an expansive Great Room beside the wall of new windows that face out toward the jeweled waters of the gleaming gulf. This spacious room has a bright sunny look with new cream-colored carpeting in the living area along with alabaster white porcelain tile in the adjoining open dining and kitchen portions. A couch, love seat, light blue accent chair, and wicker rocker face these views along with white floor to ceiling cabinets with shelving that house a flatscreen TV. A charming cream-colored country table has eight white decorative backed hardwood chairs with blue cushions next to a wall of new windows that frame the sparkling scenery. The open kitchen features a counter bar flanked by squared columns and three raised white chairs with blue cushioned seats color-coordinated with the nearby dining area. The large kitchen includes upscale appliances that blend seamlessly with white custom cabinetry that include glass fronts and are accented by dark blue countertops - providing everything needed to create fun family feasts. Glass doors lead out to the new deck that wraps around two sides of the home with multiple seating areas to enjoy wining and dining while relishing the sensational views that sometimes include seeing dolphin frolicking in the distance.

All of the bedrooms are each beautifully appointed, and most include full ensuite baths as well as views of the glistening gulf. The spacious, nautically colored Master Bedroom upstairs includes a king-sized bed, a sitting area beside another row of gulf-view windows, a wet bar, and access to its own romantic beach balcony. The luxurious ensuite bath includes separate vanities, a soaking bathtub near a wall of windows providing gorgeous shore views, and a walk-in shower. The cheerful Carriage Guest House has a studio-styled living area with a queen-sized bed, a hall bath, a sitting area with a TV, an intimate dining table, and a lovely kitchenette.

This beachfront location near South Walton's Scenic 30A is minutes away from great restaurants, friendly beach bars, specialty shops, and fun festivals in all of the picturesque coastal villages nearby.
