The charming Village of Baytowne Wharf, which was inspired by the New Orleans French Quarter, sits on a lagoon beside the vast expanse of Choctawhatchee Bay with a long pier that juts out into the water. Many visitors go there to try their luck at fishing or to experience spectacular sunsets that occur over the bay from springtime till late summer. Baytowne offers abundant amusements for families, delightful diversions for adults, lots of different restaurants, lively bars, free open-air concerts, and fun festivals for every season throughout the year. A complimentary Beach Tram will take you anywhere you want to go on the resort grounds from the beach to the bay and back.

The powdery white alabaster colored twin buildings of Beachside Towers I and II sit beside one another with step like levels that soar up to 20 stories tall. Westwinds, their tanned companion, looks like a rounded box sandcastle of sorts and features southwesterly exposures which offer guests stunning sunset views. Both have big pools overlooking the beach that are heated when need be. The angular pool at Beachside Towers II is next to a boardwalk that leads across the sugary dunes to the Gulf. A giant green-topped gazebo-type structure nearby houses a popular restaurant called The Beach House that offers gorgeous gulf views, tropical drinks, and a breezy outdoor patio. At Westwinds, an expansive lovely lagoon-shaped pool is adorned with clusters of palm trees and a secluded hot tub for adults that sits beside a waterfall that cascades down some stones. A nice sized kiddies' pool has arbors providing partial shade where adults can relax while watching them play. A poolside Tiki Bar offers tropical drinks and tasty snacks. Both facilities have a grill area, use of a fitness center, and access to the Resort Beach Tram. The views from the gulf balconies at Beachside Towers II and Westwinds are awesome since ever-changing hues of color range from glowing lime-colored peridot to deep emerald green. Heavenly sunsets occur right over the water during a good part of the year. This part of Sandestin is just west of Topsail State Beach Preserve, which has towering 20-foot tall dunes that extend for miles along the Gulf towards the east. This relatively isolated setting is perfect for long romantic strolls or a nice hike while taking in the beauty of nature, and on some days you can even see dolphins frolicking in the crystal clear waters.

Our first new Sandestin vacation rental at Beachside Towers II 4210 is a one-bedroom beachfront vacation rental that has recently been remodeled and comfortably furnished. This place is ideal as a romantic getaway place for two, but the open living area has a queen-size sleeper sofa so that you can bring the kids too. It sits up front and center with views out on the lushly landscaped pool patio with the Gulf as a glorious backdrop. The living area has a sophisticated chic urbane style with a creamy white couch that doubles as a queen-sized sleeper sofa and matching love that shares these views. Blonde hardwood tile flooring and a mirror wall accentuate spaciousness. Abstract artwork resembles shells and seagrass. Sliding glass doors to your own open poolside patio to enjoy the views over favorite drinks and listening to the roaring surf when the waves are high. The contemporary kitchen includes brushed stainless steel appliances and cream-colored custom cabinetry, richly accented by the sleek black granite countertops. There is also a pass-thru bar with seating for drinks with appetizers. A chocolate brown oval hardwood table nearby includes four ladder backed chairs for dining. The Master Suite has white cottage styled furnishings with a king-sized bed beside a wall of windows providing vivid views of both the pool and glistening Gulf. It's the first thing you see when you awaken and draw the drapes open. The Master Bedroom has easy access to a side hall bathroom with a tub shower combination and a black granite-topped vanity.

Beachside Towers II 4355 has two bedrooms along with a queen size sleeper sofa so it can accommodate six fortunate beachgoers. This Sandestin vacation residence has comfortable plush furnishings and an elegant look. Gorgeous gulf views are provided by a floor to ceiling mirror wall that provides double views of the glittering water and creates a sense of spaciousness. The couch and a love seat face these views as well as a flatscreen TV that sits upon an ornate decorative glass front credenza. A regal dining area includes a rich hardwood table with four classic colonial-styled chairs and a handsome buffet chest with sculptures at each end that sits beside a vibrant abstract wall painting of harbor boats. The recently renovated kitchen includes gleaming stainless steel appliances and custom Cherrywood cabinetry. The beachfront Master Bedroom has an en suite luxury bath with a dressing table vanity and a separate area for the toilet and shower tub. A king-sized bed sits beside a wide double window with glowing gulf views and faces sliding glass doors that provide direct balcony access. The beautifully appointed Guest Bedroom has two twin-sized beds, a sunny window, and access to a full hall bath that doubles as a powder room.

Westwinds 4820 is comfortably furnished and decorated in a sophisticated style that blends fashionable Vintage Modern with coastal casual chic. Two bedrooms with king-sized beds and a queen-sized sleeper sofa can sleep up to six happy beach-going guests. The open living area has a cheerful yellow couch that doubles as the sleeper sofa and two tropically themed accent chairs that face a wall-mounted flatscreen TV. A wall of sliding glass doors leading out to a wraparound balcony provides glittering cruise ship-like views of the Gulf and also permits access to the Master Suite. Nearby an urbane oval glass-topped table with four sleek white high backed cloth chairs is provided for elegant dining. The kitchen features an angled bar with seating to enjoy favorite drinks or appetizers, brushed stainless steel appliances for culinary creations, and plenty of white custom cabinetry for treats. The bright, crisp Master Bedroom has a blue and white nautical look with a king-sized bed facing the beachfront balcony. The full en suite private bath has double vanities and a tub/shower. The Guest Bedroom also has a king-sized bed, a full ensuite bath, and a sunny window. A half bath off the living area serves as a convenient powder room.
