Our guests have been coming down on vacation to our beautiful white sand beaches in Destin and along the Emerald Coast for well over three decades. Generations of family members have made this a memorable annual tradition, and many try to get here as often as they can. The sugary sands and jewel toned waters of the gulf always embrace everyone with a warm welcome to their "beach" home away from home! Upon arrival, you never want to leave the spot on the beach, so it's nice to know you don't have to if you one of the fortunate guests at one of our distinctive homes that sit beside the shimmering shore. Another pleasure is the experience of taking time out of your usual rushed schedule at home to sit down together for a fun family feast. Besides the great food, you are able to enjoy mutual merriment with friends, blessed bonding time with loved ones and the creation of happy memories. The following five beach homes feature outstanding views of the superb seascape right from the dining table. The salty surf and glittering gulf views may inspire you to relish your own version of a fun "Surf n Turf" culinary creation.
Crystal Cabana
Crystal Cabana is a handsome Mediterranean styled beachfront beauty that has five spacious bedrooms and the ability to accommodate up to 12 fortunate guests. It is part of the prestigious Destiny enclave which features a large lovely lagoon-shaped pool, a bubbling hot tub, tennis courts, a fitness facility, and clubhouse. The elegant dining alcove with two walls of windows provides gorgeous gulf dining views from six carved sunburst chairs around a scrolled hardwood table that sit beneath a regal shaded vintage chandelier. A granite-topped open bar beside the state of the art kitchen and a cocktail table with four richly woven straw chairs nearby share the enchanting views.
La Mer
La Mer is a premier newly completed vacation residence overlooking the beautiful beach with a great location on Scenic Highway 98 near the border of Destin and Miramar Beach. This six bedroom beach home can sleep up to 14 sun-loving guests in a house with a comfortable contemporary style and elegance. The regal dining table that seats six beneath a crystal chandelier is in an open room with three sets of glass beachfront balcony doors and also has multiple windows for gleaming gulf vistas. The living, dining and upscale kitchen areas all blend seamlessly together with your choice of seating for vivid views. You may also enjoy the sparkling scenery from a heated plunge pool on one of the balconies.
Sandtrap by the Sea
Sandtrap by the Sea is a family compound on a gulf front estate snuggled away in Miramar Beach. These hospitable home(s) can accommodate 22 happy beachgoers. 16 May sleep in the primary residence and six more with separate living quarters in the two-story Guest House near a large private pool. A long dining table has two high backed leather end chairs and six cloth side accent chairs placed by windows that offer everyone glistening gulf views. Up to ten jovial diners may eat al fresco on two tables with raised Adirondack chairs on an open beachfront deck.
Snowdrift
Snowdrift is a stylish three bedroom comfortable contemporary cottage in Destin's Miramar Beach that can sleep up to 8 carefree guests and is named for the snowy sand dune it is nestled upon. A dining table with six richly woven high backed tropical chairs sits beside a granite topped bar with additional seating in an open Great Room. Quadruple sets of sliding glass doors and soaring cathedral ceiling brings the outdoors in with sparkling gulf views. They lead to a breezy beach balcony that has a table and chairs where you may enjoy the heavenly panorama while savoring snacks and enjoying favorite tropical drinks.
Reflections
Reflections is a new six bedroom home that sits high upon a sugar white dune overlooking the glorious gulf on Scenic 30A in South Walton's Santa Rosa Beach. Multiple beds can graciously accommodate up 20 privileged guests in a highly hospitable beach home with classic coastal styling and comfortable 21st Century amenities. The creamy light upscale interiors and classic stately appointments are worthy of a feature story in Southern Magazine or Architectural Digest. Phenomenal views extend far into the southern horizon and also provide stunning sunset views that extend down the crystalline beach all the way to Destin. A round dining table with eight safari styled chairs with white slipcovers takes full advantage of these views beside three sets of floor to ceiling glass doors that lead out to a beach deck with a pool. Another table for six more lucky guests and additional leisure chairs allow you to enjoy the views while listening to the soothing surf sounds below while dining poolside.
