Camille’s at Crystal Beach

Camille’s at Crystal Beach is a visitor favorite. All of the restaurant’s seafood comes from Harbor Docks Wholesale Seafood market, while other ingredients are sourced from local growers and producers. The sushi is handmade and ready to order. You can get nigiri, sashimi, and sushi rolls. The sashimi mix is made with assorted fresh fish. Pair your sushi with a tuna poke appetizer and refreshing drink for a delicious, memorable meal. Other menu items include both seafood and non-seafood options, including grilled fish, seafood gumbo, crab cakes, ribeye, burgers, and chicken.

With an incredible waterfront location, Harbor Docks boasts great sushi and views! This surprise spot on the water has a huge variety of rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and bowls. There are so many options that it might be hard to decide what to try. If so, try the Sashimi Appetizer or Dinner, which comes with an assortment of fresh fish. The rolls menu includes over 40 mouthwatering choices. One of these is the Red Dragon, made with fried soft-shell crab, cucumber, avocado, green onion, spicy sausage, and masago topped with tuna. Another is the Rock ‘N Roll, made with eel, cucumber, avocado, and spicy sauce topped with smoked salmon and eel sauce. Yum!

Known for its Irish food and killer steaks, McGuire’s is a surprise inclusion on this list. But it’s not out of place! Located next door to McGuire’s Irish Pub, Wagyu McGuire’s offers tasty Japanese sushi and steaks. The menu features Teppanyaki entrees, as well as nigiri, sashimi, and maki rolls. A couple of rolls are named for the area and restaurant. The McGuire Roll is made with prime filet, cream cheese, avocado, and spicy mayo topped with eel sauce and sesame seeds. The Destin Roll features tuna and avocado topped with green onion and sesame seed. Pair your sushi with a craft-brewed Irish Ale for a delicious dining experience!

Destin not only has great options for sushi but hibachi as well. Osaka Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse and Sushi Bar serves handmade dishes from fresh Gulf-caught seafood. Local produce adds to the fresh flavor. The hibachi dinner menu includes hibachi chicken, filet mignon, steak and lobster, teppanyaki shrimp, and more. On the sushi menu, you will find a variety of rolls and combinations. Enjoying a romantic dinner date? Try the Sushi for Two, which comes with 12 pieces of sushi, a California Roll, Philly Roll, and Unagi Roll. Or browse their selection of premium rolls, from the Billy Willy Roll (tuna, bacon, avocado, scallions, and spicy mayo sauce) to the Sunset Roll (spicy tuna, krabstick, and tobiko wrapped in cucumber).

Enjoy traditional dishes with a modern flair at Shan Kishi in Miramar Beach. If you visit for lunch (11am-3pm), Shan Kishi offers a sushi bar, where you can select a combination of different sashimi or sushi rolls. The menu features a la carte options for sushi and sashimi, as well as vegetable rolls, special rolls, sushi entrees, and hand-rolled sushi. Like Osaka, you can also get hibachi entrees here. Add a glass of wine, craft beer, or exotic Japanese cocktail for the full Shan Kishi experience.

SushiMoto is a local favorite for sushi, and for a good reason! The food is delicious, and there are a lot of great options to choose from! Sushi and sashimi combos include options for eel, tuna, yellowtail, sweet shrimp, salmon, octopus, and more. There are also rolls for everyone. Like it spicy? Get the XXX Roll with extra spicy tuna and cucumber. Don’t eat meat? Grab the Vegetarian Roll with carrot, avocado, and cucumber. If you’re not in the mood for sushi, try their teriyaki, udon, or yakisoba. And if you can’t decide, get a variety to share with the table!

California Rolls, Spicy Tuna Rolls, Unagi Rolls, Rainbow Rolls, and Katsu rolls are just a few of the rolls on the menu. Want to try a few different items? Order one of the dinner plates. The Nigri Plate includes a California Roll and seven pieces of assorted sushi, while the Chirashi Don comes with 12oz of chef’s choice assorted sashimi.
As if these weren’t enough, Fort Walton’s Domo Café is adding a new Destin location soon. Serving sushi, bento, ramen, and bowls, Domo Café is a favorite of both locals and vacationers. Another honorable mention to our list is Shaka in Inlet Beach on 30A. The restaurant serves amazing sushi and incredible sake cocktails. It is well worth the short drive from Destin!
