Psst… did you hear the news? Paula Deen's Family Kitchen is coming back to Panama City Beach! That's right, soon locals and visitors will once again get to indulge in the best of Southern food and Southern hospitality.
Though Paula Deen's restaurant originally opened in April of 2019, its doors closed only a few months later, in November 2019. At the time, Paula Deen Ventures released a statement saying the company "plans to work with the landlords at these locations while considering to reopen next spring." We Paula Deen fans have had to wait slightly longer than hoped for the good news but are now eagerly looking forward to the new opening date at Pier Park in Panama City Beach on March 8, 2021.
Why all the hype behind the reopening of this iconic establishment? Well, a lot of reasons! These include great food, great staff, great hospitality, and a great family-style dining environment. The restaurant strives to combine well-loved Southern meals with classic Southern hospitality.
