Looking for an exclusive, elegant enclave for that special family or friend reunion? If so, then Villa Coyaba Destin is the place to be! This European styled residential condo complex is almost brand new and only has thirty-four units in the entire building. A majority of these multi-million dollar residences are retained by its fortunate owners for their own use. However Ocean Reef Resorts has two properties available here on our private vacation rental program. Villa Coyaba is located in the Crystal Beach portion of Destin overlooking 310 linear feet of pristine,  private beach which is over one football field in length. The sand here is actually clear crystals when you examine the grains but appear a shimmering white color under the sun's rays. The quartz crystal sand is so fine and clean that it actually squeaks under your feet. The reflective nature of these crystals is what has given The Emerald Coast its name since the light's reflection colors the waters in varying shades of emerald and light green peridot jeweled tones. An expansive sun deck sits right over the beach which encompasses a big 2,200 square foot infinity edged pool. The design of the pool allows you to look across the water's surface while you are swimming and see all the way to the southern horizon over the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico. This setting provides a sublime, particularly awesome, dazzling view during the Fall thru early Spring since the sun sets right into the water at this time of year. There are also grills located on the deck that allow you to cook your own "Surf n Turf" meal if you so desire while you listen to the sound of the surf below. In addition, a modern Physical Fitness room is available to guests if you have not gotten enough exercise swimming or walking the beach.

From Scenic Gulf Drive Villa Coyaba Destin is quite striking with old world, European styled architecture decorating this low rise, four story tall building. This exclusively private complex sits on over two and one half acres. Limestone balustrades compliment rounded, bowed balconies from the street side that sit below soaring arches above. Convenient covered parking is self contained underneath the building.

The location is perfect considering its close proximity to area restaurants both in Destin and Miramar Beach which are only minutes away. Shopping is nearby too with the pedestrian friendly, Disneyesque Destin Commons being the closest. Silver Sands Designer Outlet Stores, (the largest in the nation), as well as the unique shops at Grand Boulevard in Sandestin are also close by. Restaurants right along the beach include The Beachwalk Cafe, 790 at The Crystal Beach Inn, The Crab Trap, Captain Dave's and Pompano Joe's, all of which are right on the beach. These restaurants receive good reviews and are quite popular so you may want to make reservations for the dinner hour during the Summer season.

Villa Coyaba 406 is a spacious 2,400 square foot residence that has four bedrooms and three full baths.  High ceilings and an open floor plan are accentuated by beautiful travertine marble floors with high grade carpeting in the bedrooms. This four bedroom condo can sleep up to eight people and all in beds. The elegant living room has a wrap around, white zinfandel colored couch along with three comfortable cream colored arm chairs. They face a marble lined, brown mantled fireplace with a flat screen TV conveniently located above. There are views of the gulf to the side with large sliding glass doors that go out onto the private balcony. The adjacent dining area has a large square table that seats eight people in high backed cushioned chairs decorated with a somewhat ornate fabric. Just beyond this area is an open gourmet kitchen with state of the art stainless steel appliances and a long granite topped breakfast bar. This accommodates four more around the counter on tall, richly carved bar chairs with striped, cushioned seating.

The Master Bedroom Suite has a large king sized bed with an elaborate, detailed metal arch as part of the bed frame. A nice arm chair nearby offers another place to read and sits beside the sliding glass door that leads out onto the beachfront balcony. The bathroom has an extra long tub with a separate glassed in shower and double sinks. This area is richly appointed with soft brown marble accents.

The other three bedrooms are each done in a different style and two of them have queen sized beds with lots of colorful throw pillows. All but one of these has access to a private bathroom. The other guest room has two large, twin sized beds with light golden colored bed spreads which is sharp looking since it richly compliments the ebony colored bed frames.

One of the true delights of these residences at Villa Coyaba are the expansive "outdoor rooms" which are actually a balcony that runs all the way along the outside and faces the gulf. The 180 degree views of the emerald colored waters from this vista location are absolutely gorgeous. Here there is a nice chaise lounge for relaxing and a table that seats four.

Another offering we have here is Villa Coyaba 209 which is two floors down.  This residence is also 2,400 square feet with the same gleaming travertine marble floors and has four bedrooms and three baths. However with an extra queen sized bed in one of the suites, an additional bunk room and a sleeper sofa in the living room, this unit can sleep up to twelve guests.

The living area also faces an elegant fireplace but this one is formally painted with a white mantle with inlayed light brown marble. A large flat screen TV sits above the mantle and once again you have full views of the beautiful gulf through a row of four sliding glass doors. The furnishings are comfortable with a wood framed floral patterned burgundy couch, a matching lounge chair and two cream colored arm chairs. The dining area has a large, round, glass topped table with blonde colored arched back wooden chairs that almost look like bamboo. The granite topped breakfast bar that faces the gourmet kitchen has four raised chairs all of which have the same salmon striped cushioned seating as the dining area.

The king sized bed in the Master Suite has a rich looking burgundy toned bedspread with tropical palm frond patterns. This bedroom also has private access to the beachfront balcony and the marble accented bathroom with the same extra long tub, glass enclosed shower and double sinks.

The tropical theme continues in the other three bedrooms, the first of which is done in warm brown tones, has a cool giant oval mirror on the wall above the queen sized bed, a ceiling fan and three sets of dark brown palmetto palm silhouettes on one of the side walls. The next bedroom also has a queen sized bed but is light and bright with milk white wooden furniture and a lovely light green and cream colored bedspread with pink flower accents. The last guest room actually has two queen sized beds with cream colored bedspreads with a classic, simple palm tree pattern. There is also a bonus alcove room which is perfect for kids since it has a shiny red metal bunk bed and a little chest of drawers in its own space.

As with the other vacation rental residence here, the "piece de resistance" is the giant covered balcony or outdoor room which has spectacular, sweeping views of the gulf and long views of the large infinity edged pool. This balcony has two chaise lounge chairs for relaxation and a large oval table that seats six. It provides a wonderful space for dining outdoors or for cocktails and hors dourves. This is the perfect location for listening to the surf, enjoying an awesome colorful sunset or even a seeing a romantic full moon over the silver splattered waters.
