If you are in search of an awesomely urbane family or friend vacation in a high-rise tower with Vegas styled luxury then you will want to check out the towers of Ariel Dunes Destin. Located within the gates of the Seascape Resort, these twin towers offer an outstanding location just off the beach for fun and frolic.

Each tower at Ariel Dunes Destin is spectacularly up-lighted at night and capped with multiple columned porticoes which resemble classic Greek styled temples. Both towers sit back about 200 yards from the 2,000 linear feet of the shimmering white sand beach it shares with the Majestic Sun. Each tower has multiple pools. Ariel Dunes I pools create a mirage of sorts since from a distance, the building appears to magically float above the water. This awesome pool has a shallow "zero entry" at the shallow end which is great for kids since it also has a mushroom shaped waterfall that splashes down into the pool below. Additional pools behind the towers of Ariel Dunes II have vivid vistas overlooking the resort. Casual poolside drinks and dining are conveniently available at the Cabana Cafe in case you are in the mood for a frozen adult beverage with your fresh seafood entree', a pizza or a burger. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a convenient location on the first floor of Ariel Dunes I. Just in case swimming at one of the pools or at the beach is not enough exercise for you, each building offers access to a fitness center.

Each one of these luxurious properties is worthy of pampered residential living with nine foot ceilings and an eight foot tall sliding glass door in the living area that offers sweeping views from the balconies that face the sunny southern horizon across the glistening gulf. All of these Ariel Dunes vacation rentals are upscale with gleaming granite counter tops and full open kitchens with breakfast bars to accommodate extra guests. The spacious combined dining and living areas are comfortably as well as fashionably appointed. Many have views of the palm lined gated entry with the gulf extending beyond between other towers. This setting gives Ariel Dunes a chic Miami Beach look but with views of a sparkling sugar white sand beach beside emerald green waters instead of the dull Atlantic version which is beige.

Ariel Dunes is located on Scenic Gulf Drive in Destin's Miramar Beach. Scenic Gulf Drive is named for its views of the sugar white beach that parallels the shore and the jewel toned gulf that extends as far as the eye can see. Popular restaurants dot the coast here where diners are able to enjoy fresh seafood by the water's edge. Running from east to west they include The Whale's Tail, Pompano Joe's, Captain Dave's and The Crab Trap. All of these restaurants are less than a handful of minutes from Ariel Dunes Destin and The Whale's Tail is just a short stroll away. This beachfront restaurant defines laid back casual ambiance with a breezy outdoor deck that serves drinks to many who are dressed in beach swim attire. It is a favorite spot for sandwiches, appetizers and cool beverages while watching surfers or enjoying an active game of beach volleyball. A short distance towards the west is Pompano Joe's which has a distinctively Key West feel with rustic colorful offbeat architecture, fresh seafood and occasional live musical entertainment. The next one down is Captain Dave's which is the oldest seafood restaurant along this route. This popular restaurant was built years ago before just about everything else was developed as a very distant outpost from Destin when Scenic Gulf Drive was still Highway 98. A little further west into Destin is The Crab Trap is at James Lee Park. It is bordered by the opulent mansions of the Destiny neighborhoods and features fine seafood casually served in a white Victorian styled pavilion with a long beach side boardwalk to enjoy the views.

Miramar Beach is a fantastic vacation destination since it is located half way between all the action at Destin's Harbor as well as the laid back beauty of towns nestled along Scenic 30A in South Walton. This fantastic location is the best of both worlds but offers visiting guests lots to do on its own. The Silver Sands Premium Outlets are located here and happens to be the largest designer outlet in the entire nation. The Village of Baytowne Wharf is just a couple of miles away at the gated Sandestin Beach, Golf and Tennis Resort. This New Orleans inspired town is only ten years old and resembles a Disneyesque family friendly setting of the original. French colonial architecture encompasses the entire village that sits on Choctawhatchee Bay with a long wharf at one end. Great restaurants of all kinds, bodacious bars, beautiful boutiques and live musical entertainment abound here. Fireworks are shot off over the bay for every major holiday and such celebrations occur weekly during the Summer season.

If you enjoy golf, right next door to Ariel Dunes is the eighteen hole Seascape Golf Course which should surpass your expectations. There is "water water everywhere" since fifteen of the holes incorporate some kind of lovely lagoon, pristine pond or exotic coastal dune lake. There are also views of the gorgeous gulf in the distance from many of the rolling fairways which meander through pine forests and lush landscapes. Dazzling visual distractions are everywhere for even the most seasoned golfer but the unique placement of greens requires focused precision to maneuver this marvelous course. The Destin Tennis Club is also located at Seascape and is nationally rated as a Five Star Tennis Resort. Eight clay courts that border the golf course are available for play. Professional USPTA , (United States Professional Tennis Association), instruction and a wide variety of regularly scheduled tournaments are available for all ages and levels of expertise.
