The sensational Seascape Resort sits next to sugar white sand beaches on the shimmering emerald colored waters of the Gulf of Mexico in Miramar Beach. Spread out over 300 acres of landscaped aqua dotted forest, the resort grounds extend from the beach all the way back to Emerald Coast Parkway (US Highway 98). Aerial Dunes looks like something you might see in Vegas or Miami Beach with wrap around pools and decorative, columned temple porticoes which are unlighted at night. The swimming pool in front of Ariel Dunes I extends almost the entire length of the building giving the illusion that it is sitting on watery mirror that reflects its own beauty. The Majestic Sun sits up front and center, facing the beach with unobstructed spectacular gulf views that extend as far as you can see across the jewel toned waters towards southern horizon. A spectacular "see through" arch rises eight stories tall in the middle of the building above a heated indoor swimming pool with cathedral ceilings and a wall of glass that looks out onto the gulf. This flows to an outdoor pool with tow hot tubs and sundeck that is nearly beachfront. A newly completed promenade with palm trees and multiple walkovers parallels the 2,000 linear feet of the powder white beach. Here you may soar through the skies on a parasail, kayak or  experience heart pounding wave runner action. At the western end of the beach is The Whale's Tail which has a covered and open deck right on the water to watch the frequent volleyball games that are played there. If golf is your game, the eighteen hole Seascape Golf Course should surpass your expectations. Our Ocean Reef Resort guests receive complimentary discounts of 20% off green fees and 10% off the already reduced twilight rates. Created by famed golf course architect Joe Lee, Seascape is a 71 par championship course with over 6,100 yards of play. There is "water water everywhere" since fifteen of the holes incorporate some kind of languid lagoon, pristine pond or exotic coastal dune lake. There are also vistas of the gorgeous gulf in the distance from many of the rolling fairways which meander through pine forests and lush landscapes. Dazzling visual distractions are everywhere for even the most seasoned golfer but the unique placement of greens requires focused precision to maneuver this marvelous course.

Tennis anyone? The Destin Tennis Club is located at Seascape and is nationally rated as a Five Star Tennis Resort.  Eight clay courts that border the golf course are available for play. Professional USPTA ,United States Professional Tennis Association, instruction and a wide variety of regularly scheduled tournaments are available for all ages and levels of expertise. Adult programs include hourly clinics for Novice, Intermediate, Grand Slam and Competitive Doubles as well as Competitive Edge Drills for improving your stroke. A weeklong "Tennis Camp" is available for kids under the age of seventeen. Mondays through Saturdays an Adult Round Robin Tournament is held from 8:45 to 11:30 am and on Sundays from 11:45 to 2:00 pm. Junior Round Robin Tournaments are held on Tuesdays from 5:45 pm to 8:30 pm. On Monday afternoons at 5:30, staff and guests gather to socialize, have cocktails and watch the pros play on courts from March through October. Seascape has a wonderful location that is convenient to just about everything. Silver Sands, the nation's largest Designer Outlet is literally just a few minutes away. The upscale restaurants and retail shops on Grand Boulevard in Sandestin are nearby as is the magical Village of Baytowne Wharf complete with free musical entertainment, fine dining, seasonal festivals, art shows, amusements for children, specialty boutiques and frequent fireworks. In addition, Miramar Beach is half way between Destin for exciting nightlife and South Walton and Scenic Highway 30A for fun filled day trips.
