During the height of the bustling summer season it can be quite a challenge to find affordable accommodations in Destin and along Emerald Coast for a weekend getaway or brief romantic rendezvous for just a few days. It is prime time for family vacations at the beach and demand is high. Rates are at their peak and the vast majority of vacation rentals do not even provide accommodations for durations less than a week. However, here at Ocean Reef Resorts we are happy to let you know that we do have some great deals on vacation rentals by the beautiful beach that are accepting nightly guests. They all have one bedroom but most of them can sleep four to six guests. Three are located along Scenic Gulf Drive in Miramar Beach, one is at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and one is down off Scenic 30A in Seagrove Beach. Gulfview 113 is a sought after first floor condo rental with a covered patio that looks directly out into the emerald toned waters of the gulf. A triple set of glass doors out looks onto the patio to provide lovely views from the serenely decorated open living area. A plush comfortable couch converts into a queen sized sleeper sofa and faces a flat screen TV for entertainment. Four light blue stools saddle up to a kitchen bar for dining and drinks. The bedroom has a king sized bed and a flat screen TV. Gulfview has private beach access, two swimming pools, a hot tub and outdoor grills. It is within walking distance of nearby restaurants on the beach. The nightly summer rate is $229.
Majestic Sun 408A is a new one bedroom condo rental that's been freshly painted and furnished. Since it comes with a sleeper sofa in the main living area and twin bunks off the hallway this unit can sleep up to six happy beachgoers. The Majestic Sun towers over Scenic Gulf Drive like a giant manmade sandcastle with a soaring see-through arch in its center. A balcony provides vivid views of the glittering gulf and wide expanse of sugary shoreline. A large sun deck surrounds a large pool and bubbling hot tubs. A lavish indoor pool spills down to the outdoor pool from underneath the big arch and a wall of windows allows swimmers to see the gulf scenery while swimming in a climate controlled environment. There is also a Fitness Center on site. The nightly summer rate for this condo is $275.
Nearby at the urbane sophisticated high rise luxury tower is Ariel Dunes II 1705 which comfortably sleeps six with a king sized bed, twin hallway bunks and a sleeper sofa in the open living area. This condo rental includes one full bath and a powder room. The sensational Seagull's eye view of the scenery from the breezy balcony includes spectacular sunsets along the beach, a large natural lagoon and the Seascape Resort championship golf course where Ocean Reef Resorts guests receive special rates. Three swimming pools wrap around the building sit side by side and encompass 11,000 square feet of sparkling refreshment. A Fitness Center overlooks the pool area and features weight machines, aerobics, a steam room and sauna. The nightly summer rate for this condo rental is $222.
One of the most outstanding values is located at The Bayside Inn 6280 in the exclusively gated 2,400 acre Sandestin Resort. This place was made for two and can provide a very romantic setting for a short holiday. A nicely decorated studio boutique hotel type room includes a king sized bed that faces a flat screen TV for entertainment and has its own balcony. Seating allows you to look out through some tropical palm trees and enjoy viewing the beautiful bay, perhaps while sipping a favorite tropical drink. It comes with a kitchenette that has a small refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, cabinetry for savory snacks, a wet bar and a granite topped counter. A large bay front swimming pool down below has a Tiki Bar for drinks. Summer sunsets here are truly enchanting since the golden orb sets right over the bay. The sugar white Sandestin beach and abundant amusements at charming Baytown Wharf are minutes away. Without leaving the resort grounds (and via the tram) you may enjoy your choice of restaurants, lively bars, free outdoor concerts, seasonal festivals and even fireworks. The summer nightly rate is $119 from May 27th thru July 28th but only $99 per night all the rest of the year.
Down off South Walton's Scenic 30A in Seagrove Beach you will find Commodores Retreat 206, which is off the beaten path in a wonderful world of its own. It sits high upon a sugary dune overlooking the glorious gulf and its own private beach just a short distance away from a precious coastal dune lake. A large swimming pool is out front while the beautiful beach is out back. After taking a refreshing dip in the pool you may walk down to the bright white beach and luxuriate in the glowing green waters. You may walk across the estuary that flows into and from the gulf from the lovely lake depending upon the tides. The forested dunes of Deer Lake are just a short stroll away if you want to go on a nature walk adventure. A balcony off the open living area faces these views and has a table for drinks and dining. Charming comfortable furnishings and décor are completed with serene pleasing pastel colors and casual beach flair. A couch that doubles as a sleeper sofa sits beside the glass balcony doors facing a wall mounted TV while a dining table has four seats nearby. Two raised seats front the kitchen bar. The bedroom includes a king sized bed and twin bunks are tucked in off the hallway so this place can sleep up to six happy guests. Summer nightly rate for this beachfront condo is $300.
