Ocean Reef Resorts is pleased to be able to offer two vacation rentals at Maravilla, a two and one half acre beach side haven on Scenic Gulf Drive in Miramar Beach. The awesome views and convenient location, half way between Destin and South Walton, provides the perfect place for a family vacation, romantic rendezvous or enjoyable reunion with friends. Popular Pompano Joe's is easily within walking distance and The Crab Trap, a little further down the beach towards the west, can be reached by car in less than a handful of minutes. Silver Sands, the largest designer factory outlet store complex in America, is only a five minute drive away.

Maravilla sits across from the beach which is down from the dune with its own private, gated shore access. One of two luxurious lagoon shaped swimming pools overlooks the emerald colored waters of the Gulf with BBQ grills available nearby to create your own surf n turf meal while enjoying the views. Another seasonally heated pool along with a relaxing hot tub is in the back with its own set of grills, two tennis courts, shuffleboard and even a basketball court. A comfortable, spacious Club House adjoins this complex complete with restroom facilities and showers. It features a big living and dining area, a complete kitchen and exercise room. There is a fireplace for cool Autumn or Winter nights as well as a big flat screen TV. This space is available to all Maravilla Resort guests for entertaining on special occasions.

Maravilla stands for Sea Villas but in our case we have both a villa and a condominium ready for your family's pleasure depending upon how much space you require. The first, 2101 Maravilla is a highly sought after ground floor unit with two bedrooms and two baths. Right outside your patio door are the gorgeous, jewel toned gulf views that extend all the way to the sunny, southern horizon. Light salmon colored and creamy white tiled floors provide a pleasantly pleasing pastel surrounding, especially with the floral patterned furnishings.  The sofa contains a queen sized bed for extra guests or the kids so you can comfortably sleep six here if need be. The dining area has six white cushioned chairs with a large rectangular, glass topped table. This is located next to the breakfast bar that seats three more and adjoins a bright, open kitchen. The light, bright Master Bedroom Suite has a king sized bed with a private bath. There is a cute guest bedroom with a double bed and access to the other bathroom which also serves as a powder room off the hallway. This Destin condominium is an outstanding value at only $501 per week from October 29th thru March 2nd. It is only $695 per week from August 13th thru October 28th.

If you and yours require more space, we also have a private vacation home available called Banana Wind. This three story residence has a large grassy green yard which can be used for frisbee tosses, volleyball or even croquet. The ground level has both a front and rear porch which is just a stone's throw away from the hot tub, pool and Club House. This floor contains a big Great Room with fashionable, high backed cushioned chairs as well as a couch that can accommodate two guests with a queen sized bed. This open area also contains a large wood dining table with nine bar stools and an open kitchen. A pleasantly colored guest bedroom with twin beds has access to the hall bath as well as its own porch in the back.

Upstairs you will find two large Master Bedroom Suites, each with its own bath. One of them has a nice sitting area with an additional queen sized sofa sleeper and a nice comfortable chair for TV viewing. The colors are light and pleasing in this big bright room. The other Master Suite is also nicely appointed and each one of these bedrooms has its own private, covered balcony to enjoy a refreshing beverage and the cool ocean breezes. The third floor is an observation den, complete with its own covered viewing deck both front and back. Here you can check out the action around the pool or tennis courts on one side with views towards the Gulf on the other. This room also contains a large sleeper sofa and is a popular place for children who can have their own space.

Banana Wind is also a great value with separate space for everyone on three separate levels since it can sleep up to twelve including the pull out sofa beds.  Although prime time Summer rates are higher, this home can be had for as little as $730 per week during the a Fall and Winter months with a rate of $1,014 from August 13th thru October 29th.  What a deal, especially if you are sharing this home with another couple or family.
