Destin is deep in SEC Country and the beaches along our shores are lined with alumni, fans, faculty, and students (traveling with their families) from towns sprinkled throughout the conference. The SEC is regarded as one of the most accomplished sports conferences with a winning reputation that includes 37 national football championships, 41 indoor track championships, 21 basketball championships, 24 swimming championships, and 20 gymnastic championships.  Needless to say folks are pretty proud of their schools and they show their support back home as well here in Destin.

With the 2016 college football season just kicking off the schools have already began to compete for the SEC Championship title.   However, which SEC Town holds the rank of number 1 for coming to Destin?  Here's our top 10 ranking based off which college towns visited our white sand shore the most this year.
