Allen House

Allen House is a four bedroom beachfront vacation home that sits right on the sugary shore with balconies that span its width on the raised first and second floor. You are not able to get any closer to the bright white beach than this prominent perch! Not only do you get to enjoy panoramic views of the spectacular seascape and the glittering gulf, but you also experience the ever-present sound of the soothing surf. This rental is established at an enviable location in Dune Allen Beach, which serves as the unofficial western gateway to South Walton's Scenic 30A and is close to delightful diversions at Sandestin in Miramar Beach. Besides the beautiful private beach, this gracious home is directly across from Oyster Lake. These types of precious coastal dune lakes are found in very few other places on Earth. The exotic mixture of fresh and salt water from periodic connections to the gulf supports a huge abundance of wildlife. You are free to try your luck upon the tranquil waters spotting cranes, fishing, paddle boarding or canoeing. However, you may have a hard time staying away from the beach since it is just outside your back door.

The open Great Room overlooking the beach includes the living, dining and kitchen portions of this hospitable home. Four sets of double glass sliding doors frame the glistening gulf views and provide ready access to the beachfront balcony. The glass walls and wide white tile give a bright, spacious look. A cozy couch, two blue lounge chairs, and two nautically attired bucket accent chairs provide a comfortable seating ensemble facing a flatscreen TV. The middle of this room includes a rectangular dining table next to one set of gulf view windows with six high backed leather side chairs and two woven backed end chairs. The sunny white kitchen with new stainless-steel appliances on the other side includes a counter bar with four more raised seats to enjoy cold drinks and tasty appetizers.

The Primary Bedroom with a king size bed and a Guest Bedroom with two twin beds are also on this level. Both rooms are cheerfully decorated and include ensuite baths with a walk-in shower. The updated primary bath is also accessible from the hallway to serve as a powder room if needed.

An additional bonus living area is upstairs flanked by two more Guest Bedrooms decorated with crisp nautical colors in blues and whites. A double set of glass doors opens from the living area to the gulf front observation balcony. The living area includes a game table with four seats and a set of twin accent chairs that face a wall mounted TV. One of the bedrooms has a king size bed while the other has two queen beds. A full bath with a tub/shower combination connects both sleeping quarters.

Allen House's fantastic location is close to two favorite restaurants. Stinky's Fish Camp serves fresh caught seafood. You may walk down the beach to The Vue on 30A, which serves wonderful Caribbean style seafood and has glorious gulf views.
