Staying here at Gulfside Cottages is like taking a trip back in time to simple Americana life of the late 1800s, yet staying right in the heart of 21st century Miramar Beach! This private residential community is indeed "gulf side" nestled beside the lustrous sugar white sand shore overlooking the emerald hued gulf. It is a place out of time and space due to its architectural ambiance.

Destination is a recently remodeled, charming Old Florida styled vacation home with two bedrooms graciously adorned with four breezy balconies and old fashioned porches that provide wonderful outdoor enjoyment. You will become immediately embraced by its inviting warmth as soon as you arrive at this lovely abode framed by palm trees, a white picket fence and steps that lead up to the wide front porch. It is the perfect blend of the nostalgic charm of yesteryear with the modern amenities of today. This pet friendly home is only fifty yards from the neighborhood pool and only a two minute walk (no roads to cross) to the beautiful beach. The pool has a unique double squared design and is surrounded by a sunny patio that is accented with decorative arbors as well as a number of palm trees. Within minutes you may go from enjoying the fresh water here to taking a salty plunge into the translucent glistening gulf which itself is often "swimming pool clear."

The main living area of Destination is on the first floor and has a serene nautical décor with a neutral colored couch that doubles as a queen size sleeper sofa that is flanked by two stylish chairs. They face an entertainment system that includes a wall mounted TV with a DVD player. A white wooden table nearby has four chairs next to an open white kitchen featuring a counter bar with plush stools for casual dining. There is also a powder room off the main living area for added convenience.

Upstairs you will find the Master Bedroom with a comfortable king size bed and a guest bedroom with twin beds, each of which has a full private bath en suite. Gleaming honey toned hardwood flooring provides homey warmth to each room and glass doors access the balcony with views of the lovely neighborhood across the tree tops.

This Gulfside Cottages location has close convenient access to the best of Destin's Miramar Beach. Silver Sands, the nation's largest discount designer outlet is close by. Popular beachfront restaurants with friendly bars are minutes away on Scenic Gulf Drive as is Seascape Golf Course with a professional challenging eighteen hole golf course. The Village of Baytowne Wharf and Grand Boulevard at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort are also just minutes away.
