The neighborhood resembles an island oasis since the entire perimeter is also graced by natural lagoons and the lush fairways of Baytowne Golf Course.

A paver stone driveway leads up to Villa Lago 1951, a new white two-story villa with a terracotta tiled roof and a columned portico entry. The first floor includes the open living, dining, and kitchen area, along with one of the guest quarters. Ten-foot tall ceilings, a multitude of sunny windows, and light hardwood tile flooring throughout accentuate a spacious look. A glass door leads to a covered patio with a gas grill that overlooks the lovely lagoon adorned with Lilypads. Inside, comfortable contemporary furnishings include a light taupe-colored couch, which doubles as a queen-size sleeper sofa, two brown leather bucket chairs, and a white marble-topped cocktail table facing a large wall-mounted flatscreen TV. A round hardwood dining table nearby includes six high-backed chairs stylishly done in colors of salmon, orange, and brown. The bright open state-of-the-art kitchen features a large white quartz-topped island with three plush brown suede chairs for additional wining and dining. The guest bedroom on this floor has a queen size bed facing a flatscreen TV and access to a hall bath with a walk-in shower.

The primary bedroom and two more guest bedrooms upstairs all include flatscreen TVs for evening viewing pleasure, along with luxury ensuite baths lavished with white marble. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed with an elegant tufted headboard near a row of windows, and the luxurious private bath includes double vanity sinks, a soaking tub, and a glass-walled walk-in shower. The two guest bedrooms have fashionable contemporary furnishings, with a king-size bed in one and a queen in the other.

Villa Lago of the Sandestin Resort includes a refreshing community pool and is within easy walking distance of the captivating Village of Baytowne Wharf. But why walk when you can take the complimentary six-seater golf cart?! You can also enjoy carting over to the beautiful pool and beach. The pool has a Mediterranean-styled restroom with “His-n-Hers” dressing rooms, a palm-studded patio with a pergola-topped dining area, and plenty of lounge chairs. Baytowne Wharf was inspired by architecture in the New Orleans French Quarter and is absolutely charming. A long dock extends into the beautiful Choctawhatchee Bay, where guests can experience magnificent sunsets over the water during the summer months. It includes a wide array of great restaurants, bars with live music, specialty shops, outdoor concerts, fun festivals throughout the year, and vibrant seasonal firework celebrations. This locale is also close to the tropically urbane town center of Sandestin, known as Grand Boulevard, which is lavished with towering royal palm trees.
